Though not the worst example, the description of the work is generally of the usual vague and meaningless nature which also ignores the Iconography inherent in the statue. It reads:

“My work combines both history and popular culture in a celebration of the different beliefs and faiths in our modern society. I believe ‘Superman’ is an image that people picture when they think of Jesus. The use of the Mexican Day of the Dead imagery is a reference to the death of people’s beliefs.”
